The objective of this assignment is about the narrative opportunities of a multi-page/multi-surface document and the interaction between two texts: a macro and a micro text. My book's micro view comprises a sequence of events—such as a timeline of Banksy's art. The macro view is based on the invention of hip-hop and it's timeline.

The first phase was to establish a mood board to start brainstorming the look and feel of my book. I wanted it to have a fun and playful tone but also informative at the same time. My two topics were the invention of hip-hop and Banksy. I created a mind map to give me some sense of direction and where to start for my first spreads.
